KKCD was formed in 1997 by group of people headed by Dr Sundaresh Heragu and supported by many kannadigas in the capital region. KKCD's mission is to strengthen the Kannada community of Tricity area of New York(Albany, Troy & Schenectady) by providing a forum to pursue cultural, educational and community development
